Which music apps does it work with?
Spotify (Free and Premium) and Apple Music, through the Music app. Pick the source during setup or later in Settings → Source.
How do I get the lyrics on my car's display?
You need CarPlay and iOS 26 or later. Start a session in Roadaoke and the lyrics card appears on CarPlay on its own.
Don't see it? On your iPhone open Settings → General → CarPlay → your car, and make sure Live Activities are allowed.
The card on CarPlay or the Lock Screen stops moving
iOS limits how often a Live Activity can update. Turn off Low Power Mode while driving, and turn on "More Frequent Updates" in iOS Settings → Roadaoke.
For long drives, set up the CarPlay automation in Roadaoke → Settings → Set up the CarPlay automation: it starts Roadaoke when you connect and keeps the card fresh.
The lyrics are early, late or the wrong version
Tap "Wrong lyrics?" under the lyrics to pick another version: Roadaoke remembers your choice. Use the − and + buttons next to it to shift the timing of that song by a quarter of a second at a time.
Why are there no lyrics for a song?
Lyrics come from LRCLIB, a free community service. Some songs simply aren't there yet. If you know the words, you can contribute them on lrclib.net and everyone gets them.
What does Roadaoke Pro include?
Roadaoke is free, with a limit of free karaoke minutes every day and every feature included. Roadaoke Pro removes the daily limit, forever: it's a single purchase, not a subscription, and it can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings in Roadaoke and tap "Restore Purchases", signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro.
Why does Roadaoke use my location?
To keep running in the background while you drive, so the card stays in sync with the music, and to count the distance you sing. Your location is never stored or sent: only the total distance is saved, on your phone. Read more in the Privacy Policy.

Roadaoke is designed to be read at a glance and to work without touching the phone. Set everything up before you drive, follow the law, and never interact with your phone while driving.
